Senior level Gallery Director & Gallery Manager, Silas Shabelewska is the former AVP, Gallery Manager of HAUNCH OF VENISON NY and the HELLY NAHMAD GALLERY.
At Haunch, she worked on exhibitions featuring Gunther Uecker, Chiharu Shiota-Marlene Mocquet, Kevin Grancis Gray, Doug Argue, Ahmed Alsoudani. At Helly Nahmad, she produced numerous exhibitions including the acclaimed SOUTINE BACON, curated by Maurice Tuchman and Esti Dunow (2011). Other exhibitions include: Alexander Calder, The Painter (2011), Dubuffet(2009), Gustave Moreau – Arman The Day after( 2008), Picasso Bodegones (2008) Max Ernst(2007), Fernand Léger (2005). After 14 years of working for leading art galleries in New York, Shabelewska decided to create her own gallery: ART 3. Her experience has given her an extensive and varied network of connections, including top art world collectors and professionals, galleries, dealers, auctions houses, museums and artists. Shabelewska is trained in Art History with an emphasis in Modern and Contemporary Art. She has assisted clients in buying or selling works in the Secondary and Primary Market.

MONIKA FABIJANSKA, Co-Director
Multidisciplinary curator and producer, Monika Fabijanska is the former Deputy Director (2000-2005) and Director (2005-2010) of the Polish Cultural Institute in New York. In this capacity, she curated and produced visual arts, film, literature, and performing arts projects, in collaboration with MoMA, The Jewish Museum, Lincoln Center, BAM, et al. She graduated from the Department of History of Art at the University of Warsaw. Among her greatest achievements was the initiation of the purchase and exhibition by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) of works by Alina Szapocznikow. Monika initiated and co-produced presentations of outstanding Polish contemporary artists in the US, including: Magdalena Abakanowicz at MoCA LA, Tadeusz Kantor at Jewish Museum, Katarzyna Kozyra at Brooklyn Museum of Art, Zbigniew Libera at the University of Michigan, Wilhelm Sasnal at Berkeley Art Museum, Christian Tomaszewski and Joanna Malinowska at Performa, and Artur Znijewski at MoMA. She produced Architectures of Gender. Contemporary Women’s Art in Poland, the exhibition of 16 installations at Sculpture Center (2003), and curated the exhibition of 28 artists, Polyphony of Images. A Night of Cutting-Edge Contemporary Art from Poland: Video, Performance, and Other Media (2008). In 2003 she launched Poland-US Artists-in-Residency Exchange Program, in which several dozens of artists participated since.

Minimum Project Duration: ART 3 produces 5 exhibitions per Calendar Year:
2 in the Fall and 3 in the Spring.
Sometimes we might add a Show in January.

The gallery is closed to the public in JULY & AUGUST and open by Appointment only
